Superlative Arms’ AR-15 Bleed Off direct-impingement solid adjustable gas block is built to meter gas by bleeding excess pressure out the front of the block instead of restricting flow like conventional adjustable blocks. By reducing the gas and pressure required to drive the bolt carrier, the system typically runs cleaner and cooler, with reduced wear on key components. In Bleed Off Mode, the forward venting helps move excess pressure away from the operator and can reduce blowback when used with SBRs and/or suppressors.
